- Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
- In the left sidebar, click on Appearance.

Any logo that you use on your website should be in .webp format. If your logo is transparent – meaning that it does not have a background – you can save it as a transparent .webp file.
- Mind your size: Too large, and your site slows down. Too small, and your logo looks blurry. Aim for a width around 500 pixels.
- Watch the shape: Many times a square or round logo fits best, so it you have a horizontal logo, try to get a square version as well.
- High resolution for retina screens: For sharp logos on modern devices, upload a logo that’s twice the display size. For example, if your logo displays at 200 x 200 pixels, upload a 400 x 400 pixel file.

When you click on “Header” in the customizer, a header builder appears at the bottom of the page. In this example from my website, there is a social widget, a search widget, a secondary navigation, and a button on the top row.
My logo is in the center of the second row, and my primary navigation is in the center of the bottom row.

In this example, I have dragged the logo to the left side of the header builder and the primary navigation is on the right. The results are seen immediately.
