Building Pages with Kadence Design Library Blocks

Kadence Blocks provide a way to create custom pages in WordPress by offering design tools that are both modular and easy to use. You can quickly layout pages with structured rows and columns, add text and image content, and enhance the user experience with interactive elements like tabs and accordions.

Choose a Hero Block

To begin constructing your page, start with a hero block. This is the featured image and text that land “above the fold” on a website.

This is an example of a hero block:

Briefly and concisely explain what you do for your audience.

Consider using this if you need to provide more context on why you do what you do. Be engaging. Focus on delivering value to your visitors.

Adding Text and Image Blocks

With your rows and columns in place, add text blocks to share content and image blocks to visually enhance your page. Text blocks within Kadence come with full typography controls for a custom look, while image blocks can be adjusted for size, alignment, and spacing.

Incorporating Tabs and Accordions

To present content compactly and efficiently, use tabs and accordions which condense large amounts of information into manageable sections. Tabs are ideal for categorizing content, whereas accordions are perfect for FAQs or step-by-step guides.

  • Add a tab block to sort your content into accessible, navigable categories.
  • Use accordion blocks to create expandable sections for details that don't require permanent page space.
